- For the record in the death register, the relatives or an authorised person must inform the civil registry office within 2 days (according to Article 35 paragraph 1 of the Federal Civil Registry Ordinance) and take the following files with them: Medical death certificate, identity card, family record book (only if available), residence permit (for foreign citizens).
- For funeral formalities such as place, time, address of the priest etc. the funeral office of the municipality should be consulted.
